The founder
Meet Danielle.
Danielle is the practitioner behind Bare Essence. She founded the clinic in 2024 as a specialist electrolysis service - a deliberate decision to focus on the only permanent hair removal method, rather than spreading across treatments she doesn't believe in.
Bare Essence exists because of a pattern. Too many people - particularly women with PCOS, anyone with fine or blonde or grey hair, anyone with a deep skin tone, transgender clients - had been turned away from laser clinics with the wrong answer. They were told there was nothing more that could be done, when in fact electrolysis is the textbook treatment for exactly their situation.
Danielle wanted a calm, private space where those conversations could happen properly. Where the consultation came first. Where the work was personal.
Today the clinic operates out of a private suite within Regent 88 on Church Road in Leyton, away from the noise of a high-street salon. Danielle works personally with every client, seven days a week.

Why electrolysis specifically
Permanent means something here.
A lot of hair removal language is loose. Treatments are marketed as "long-lasting" or "permanent reduction" - language that's been around so long it stops meaning anything. Electrolysis is the only method the FDA recognises as permanent. That distinction matters. It's the reason we built the clinic around it.
For our clients, this often comes after years of expensive treatments that didn't deliver. Cycles of laser. Cycles of waxing. Cycles of being told the hair was just stubborn. The honest answer was that the wrong method was being applied to the wrong hair, for the wrong skin tone.
Once the right method is applied, the work has an end. That's the difference.
