The treatment
What electrolysis actually is.
Electrolysis works by inserting a very fine probe alongside each hair, into the follicle. A small, precise electric current is delivered for a fraction of a second, destroying the follicle's ability to regrow hair. The treated hair is then lifted out with no resistance.
It treats each follicle individually. That's why it takes several sessions for a full area - and it's also why the results are permanent. Once a follicle is properly disabled, that's it. It doesn't grow back.
Hair grows in cycles, so the same area needs to be revisited as new hairs enter the active growth phase. Over the course of your plan, the area becomes progressively, permanently bare.

Probe in, current applied
A very fine, single-use sterile probe is inserted into the follicle alongside the hair. A small current is applied for a fraction of a second, disabling the follicle.

Hair removed effortlessly
The treated hair is lifted out gently with tweezers - it should slide out without resistance when the follicle has been properly treated.

Soothing finish
After-treatment cooling and a calming serum to settle the skin before you go.

Aftercare
Looking after your skin between sessions.
For the first 24 - 48 hours
Avoid heat - no saunas, hot showers, gym, sun exposure or makeup directly on the treated area.
Between sessions
No waxing, plucking, threading or epilating in the area - we need the hair in the follicle. Shaving and trimming are fine.
Daily SPF
Use SPF 30+ on any treated area exposed to daylight. Particularly important on the face.
Gentle products only
Avoid actives (retinol, AHAs, BHAs) on the area for 48 hours. Calming, fragrance-free products are best.
